Becoming a volunteer or foster for a small animal rescue can be a rewarding and life-changing experience. Not only will you be helping to save the lives of animals in need, but you'll also be supporting a rescue that is run solely on volunteers and donations. 

Fostering is an especially impactful way to contribute, as it provides temporary homes for animals who might otherwise be euthanized due to overcrowding in shelters. As a foster, you'll provide love, care, and socialization to an animal in need, preparing them for their forever home. Whether you have experience with animals or not, there are many ways to get involved and make a difference.

Can't foster? Friends Forever has more opportunities open to our community to help support the animals in other ways. 

We are always looking for dedicated individuals to help us in a variety of ways, including cleaning, transporting, event staff, and barn cleaning. Cleaning tasks include maintaining the cat room, kitten cages, and general facility cages to ensure that our animals have a clean and safe environment. 

If you enjoy driving, transporters are needed to take animals to and from surgeries, pick up or drop off animals for meet and greets, and even pick up surrendered animals. 

Events are another opportunity to get involved, where you can assist with table set ups and bring adoptable animals to show off. 

Finally, we have a need for barn cleaners who can help with cleaning small animals, organizing items, and doing general cleaning.
