For those of you who follow us you saw weeks ago when we brought Moe into our program. He was suffering horribly with a skin infection caused by Demadex mange. After a lot of treatment he is almost fully healed. Treatment is completed and he has been neutered so now it’s his time to find a family.
Moe is a 10 month old bully boy who is super sweet. He is still learning that the world doesn’t have to be a scary place. He likes car rides and going to new places and having new adventures even if they still are a little scary to him. He craves attention and being with people. He is good with other dogs but plays like the little hippo he is so another dog must be able to match his play activity. He is completely potty and kennel trained. He likes cats and other small animals and even children. Moe is a very special boy and deserves the best home! His has come so far on this journey and he has some more to go but this next stage in his path should be with his new friend forever.
Bubba Jones now known as Louie had his final eye surgery and we are happy to announce it was a success! Not only does this boy have a new home but he also has working eyes!!!! Thank you for all who donated towards his surgery!
We are so happy to announce that after 2 years of waiting for his own family SIMBA was finally adopted! This wonderful boy would just wait and watch as one by one all of his friends went home with their new people, but it was never his turn. That changed for him last week when he finally went home to his new family! We are told he is loving life and getting to be friends with his new furr siblings. He is enjoying sleeping on the bed and lounging on the couch! He is finally home! in a home that will love this boy forever! CONGRATS SIMBA!
“Jamila” Aka Punkin says it was a beautiful weekend to just relax!
It’s so amazing to see her here so happy after the way she came to us! Love and more love does wonders
HeathCliff stayed in our facility about 5 months waiting to be picked up by a mom that boarded with us and just never showed up again. He sat and watched as other animals were dropped off and picked up and wondered why he couldnt go home too? We posted him for adoption after getting no response from owner and he was adopted 3 days after being posted, He went home to a loving family, and now he gets to play and grow on his terms. It's great to see that he got his second chance and has a bright future ahead of him. Congratulations you gentle soul!!
12 puppies later to be able to post this update:
We at friends forever are more then happy to announce the adoption of our Stevie Nicks into her new forever home! Her trial period is over and her family agrees she was made to be theirs. No more wondering if another meal will come, no more being left behind, no more lonely days wishing someone would pay her some attention and no more puppies!!! Stevie finally gets to know what a true forever home feels like with people who will love her unconditionally! This journey with her has been an absolute blessing for us here at the rescue. She is an amazing dog and I am so happy for her! It’s been a pleasure Stevie ❤️❤️ congratulations on your new life!!!!
